Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls and emails to prospects to schedule appointments with potential donors and sponsors.
  • Utilize persuasive communication skills to effectively convey the mission and goals of the company.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and appointments in our CRM system and create monthly reports.
  • Coordinate with the fundraising team to ensure alignment of messaging and goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Stay informed about the organization's programs, initiatives, and impact to effectively engage with prospects.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for maximizing appointment-setting success

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in appointment setting, sales, fundraising, or customer service roles.
  • Knowledge of nonprofit organizations and experience working within the nonprofit sector is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate the organization's mission and goals clearly and compellingly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools for managing appointments and contacts.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a genuine commitment to supporting veterans and their families
