Title: I-CPT-10213 Local SEO Associate

Independent Contractor – IT Dev VA/ Junior Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

The Local SEO Associate will help grow our clients’ online visibility and drive qualified organic traffic for local businesses. The role focuses on improving Google rankings, optimizing online listings, maintaining accurate citations, and boosting customer actions across platforms such as Google Business Profile, Bing Places, and Apple Maps. Success is measured through higher conversions, stronger domain authority, improved search visibility, and increased Google Analytics sessions.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

1. Local SEO Management

Understand and use various SEO tools such as SEMrush, BrightLocal, WordPress, SEO plugins, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, and Google Analytics.
Assist or lead technical audits, on-page optimization, and ongoing off-page optimization campaigns.
Help complete website revisions and any minor client requests related to SEO.

2. Client Communication & Coordination

Maintain an open communication line with the Principal Owner and execute all assigned tasks promptly.
Communicate directly with clients to gather ideas and content for Google Business Profile posts.
Monitor and respond to customer reviews across Google and other platforms in a timely and professional manner.
Assist with creating Local SEO presentation materials (e.g., screenshots, summaries).

3. Content & Posting

Create branded images using Canva for Google Business Profile posts.
Schedule 4 monthly Google Business Profile posts for each assigned client.

4. Processes & Deadlines

Complete onboarding procedures within 2 business days after client kick-off.
Execute account setup procedures within 5 business days of client kick-off.
Execute monthly SEO tasks within weeks 2–3 of each month to ensure impact on the current month’s reporting.

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

Must be available to work 9 AM–5 PM EST.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong grammar and professionalism in email communication.
Background in marketing, preferably SEO.
Experience with Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Maps, etc.
Experience with Local SEO tools such as BrightLocal, Yext, Moz Local, Birdeye, or similar platforms.
Highly detail-oriented and organized, even when managing multiple priorities at once.
Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to adapt quickly.

Work Schedule

Contracted Hours per Week: 40 Hours
Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
Daily Working Time: 9 AM-5 PM EST

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
