POSITION OVERVIEW

The Quality Auditor plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with established quality standards and regulations within the organization. This role involves conducting systematic audits, inspections, and assessments of processes, products, and systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality control measures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set audit checklist across departments
  • Audit all processes (including emails and calls) according to schedule
  • Monitor audit trends and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Work with departments on action plans and follow through with completion
  • Conduct knowledge checks of processes with departments
  • Facilitate regular calibration sessions with departments

TASKS

  • Conduct Regular Audits: Perform routine audits of operational processes, and systems to assess compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Document Review: Review and analyze documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and records, to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Audit processes of multiple departments for continuous improvement purposes
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and analyze root causes of quality issues, deviations, and nonconformities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and track compliance with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction through proactive assessment of quality systems and practices.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to contractors (Staff/VAs) on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed audit reports, findings, and recommendations, and maintain accurate records of audit activities, observations, and corrective actions taken.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to address quality-related issues, implement corrective actions, and drive quality initiatives.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices related to quality assurance and compliance, and ensure alignment of organizational practices with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Consistent tracking of quality improvement
  • Implementation of action plans
  • Management of all audit programs

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Continuous improvement and quality management methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, TQM, or other similar competencies
  • Proven experience in quality auditing, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Experience in change management
  • Strong understanding of data, quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Cross-functional team coordination
  • Project management - intermediate to advanced
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
