About the Salesforce Admin

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce IT Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce functionality and configuration, as well as experience in system administration and support.

Responsibilities are

  • Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user management, security settings, profiles, roles, workflows, and process automation.

  • Customize and configure Salesforce to meet the needs of various departments and business units.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement changes within Salesforce.

  • Perform regular data management tasks, including data imports, exports, and cleanup activities.

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, providing timely resolution and support to end-users.

  • Manage integrations between Salesforce and other systems, ensuring data integrity and synchronization.

  • Stay informed about Salesforce updates, new features, and best practices, and recommend enhancements to improve system functionality and efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and user guides for Salesforce users.

  • Provide training and support to Salesforce users, assisting them with questions, issues, and technical guidance as needed.

  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to support and maintain the overall IT infrastructure

Requirements are

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) required; additional certifications such as Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM 211) or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and declarative features.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration, including workflows, validation rules, process builder, and reports/dashboards.

  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience and Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
