Research Virtual Assistant

Job Description:
As a Research Virtual Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our sales team by conducting thorough research to identify relevant events, compiling information for evaluation, setting up discovery calls, and communicating with event organizers to gather necessary details. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our field team's participation in targeted events.

Responsibilities:

Event Research: Utilize various online resources and platforms to research and identify events relevant to our industry and target market.

Event Compilation: Compile a list of identified events, including key details such as date, location, theme, target audience, and potential opportunities for our company's participation.

Discovery Call Setup: Schedule discovery calls between the sales team and event organizers to gather further information and assess potential partnership opportunities.

Information Compilation: Gather and organize information about each event in Excel sheets or SharePoint, including attendee demographics, sponsorship opportunities, and logistical details.

Communication with Event Organizers: Reach out to event organizers via email or phone to request additional information, negotiate terms, and ensure our company's requirements are met.

File Arrangement: Maintain organized files and documentation related to events, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information as needed.


Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or similar role, preferably in a research capacity.
Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint for data compilation and organization.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience in event planning or coordination is a plus.
Knowledge of sales processes and strategies is desirable.
