CPT-5527 Medical Biller

VA Service: Business Support
Experience Level: Senior to Advanced Level
Hours/Week: 40 hours
Shift Time Zone: PST
Shift Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Shift Days: Monday to Friday

      Tasks

      • Data Entry to their system
      • With extensive medical billing and denial management experience - 3yrs++ experience
      • Post all insurance payments, invoices, billing adjustments for assigned accounts and enter it by CPT codes or as instructed
      • Conduct audits and coding reviews to make sure data entered in the system is correct and accurate
      • Assign codes for all services rendered; search for additional relevant information if case is complex or unusual
      • Be able to close payment batches daily or reconciling payment and statements (if necessary)
      • Initiate process of preparing counters for rejected claims and endorsing it to proper person
      • Initiate process and prepare counters for submission
      • Be able to submit counters to proper person
      • Edit/Adjust, if necessary, claims, correct any errors
      • Submitting counters
      • Submitting claims
      • CPT codes
      • List down all query to point person to complete the information needed to run the invoicing
      • This is more of an administrative task and no phone calls will be involved

      Qualifications

      • Dual Monitor is required
      • Attention to detail is a must
      • Prior experience is huge advantage
      • Wants to grow with the company
      • Application/Software Knowledge Requirements
      • NextGen Office - nice to have (client to teach)
      • Google Suite
